After 15 years as an Early years practitioner in a local nursery, and having had my own children, I decided to have a career change and train as a teacher. I started teaching in 2019 in Reception and Key Stage 1 at a school near Exeter, and then moved nearer to home when I joined the team at Bow Community Primary School in 2022.
Beyond school, I enjoy walking with our dog, especially over Exmoor, watching 999 programmes on TV and spending time with our children, Lily and Evie, and my husband Craig.

Our Ethos
We encourage your child to grow at a pace that they are comfortable with and support each of them as individuals. We recognise mums and dads as the first and most important educators of their children and as such, Morchard Bishop Pre-School staff see themselves as partners with you in providing quality care at the start of their education process.
Choice of lunches
Your child can choose to bring a packed lunch, or opt for a freshly prepared hot dinner, cooked in the adjoining school kitchen at a small extra cost (you can choose meals in advance from a varied menu, including vegetarian options). The meals are ordered online using 'ParentPay.com' , please contact a member of the Pre-School staff for more information.Tapestry
When your child begins our Pre-School we will enrol them on to a programme called 'Tapestry' where you will be able to access your child's learning journal and upload relevant photographs. All Pre-School pupil's parents have access to Tapestry - please also see Morchard Bishop Pre-School Facebook page for more photographs.
Transition to School
The majority of our children transfer to Morchard Bishop Primary School and we ease this transition for the older Pre-School children with weekly visits to the Reception Class. We are able to share the space in the school grounds, making use of the school field, the Roundhouse and the school playground.
